Office Coordinator, The Tooth Truck

Hours: 7:30 am – 4:45 pm (5 days a week)

The Tooth Truck is seeking an Office Coordinator for its mobile dental program. The Office Coordinator will engage with area children on a daily basis to help improve their oral hygiene and self-esteem. This position requires the ability to accomplish multiple tasks daily and work well in a team environment.

The Office Coordinator fulfills the essential duties of a front office staff member, including scheduling appointments, ensuring a positive patient experience, coordinating site visits, overseeing volunteers, and entering Medicaid payments. The Office Coordinator demonstrates excellent communication with others, strong organizational skills, enjoys connecting with children, and works successfully with a team of individuals towards a common goal. The right candidate must have excellent computer skills and be able to learn and navigate our dental software program. The ability to multi-task in a busy work environment is essential. Candidates must be able to travel within Springfield and other outlying communities to provide dental services and although not required, may also serve as a dental assistant on a fill-in basis (if applicable). The Office Coordinator may share the duty of driving the Tooth Truck and will participate in event-related activities as requested.

The Tooth Truck operates primarily in Springfield, but also serves school districts in Ash Grove, Billings, Cassville, Clever, Mt. Vernon, Monett, Verona, Walnut Grove, Willard, and West Plains. Nonprofit sites include Boys & Girls Clubs, Harmony House, Great Circle, The Fairbanks, and the Salvation Army.

The Ronald McDonald House is looking for an individual with a heart to help others and to fulfill the mission of our organization. The Family Care Manager position requires an individual who can demonstrate an attitude that gives our Ronald McDonald House families top priority and provides an atmosphere of appreciation to our donors and volunteers.

Our Family Care Managers assume full accountability for the operation of the House during their shifts, under the leadership of the Program Manager. Applicants must successfully complete the organization’s required background check. Responsibilities include the registration, check-in, orientation and checkout of guest families, according to established guidelines and procedures. Family Care Managers continually inspect the premises and are responsible to ensure that cleanliness and maintenance standards are being met by working with our dedicated team of volunteers.
